In mid 2018, the ContractorHQ team wanted some validation of the following hypothesis from councils located around Australia:
"Event and compliance managers from councils around Australia still rely upon manual processes to collect compliance-related data from contractors who perform works at their events."

Our Research | Our Confirmation...
The goal of the research was to validate the many conversations that the CHQ development team had with compliance managers throughout the events industry between 2016 and 2018. It was felt that there was a lot of pain being experienced by event managers who had to rely on manual processes to:
(a) Collect documentation from suppliers
(b) Identify the missing pieces
(c) Provide updates to suppliers in relation to documentation
(d) Gain clarity of the status of previously uploaded documentation
Based on the results of the research, the team then set out to build a system that would provide a digital framework which automates as many processes as humanly possible. During the system design and development process, the end-users in mind were compliance and event managers at city councils throughout Australia - plus other organisations who run multiple events per year.
